Portrait Tips: Clothing & Make-Up: - Clothing: What colors look best on you? Don't be afraid of
bright colors. Make sure the neckline and shoulders fit properly.
- One can never go wrong in white t-shirts and jeans.
- GREEN SCREEN TIPS: Because we use the latest technology in
green screen portraits, it is best to stay away from wearing green. If
you want to wear green. It's not a problem as we can use a blue screen
background instead. Green screens produce better background images.
- Eyeglasses: It is very important to reduce the chances of
magnifications, reflection and darkening of lenses. If at all possible,
remove lenses or borrow empty frames from your optician.
- Make-up & Hair: Keep it simple. If you wish to cut your
hair, it is best to do so at lease a week before your session as it
normally takes a few days to settle down after the cut. Please remember
to bring a hair brush with you.

here are some tips for wearing make-up. Keep it simple...
- Eyeliners: If you use eyeliner, use it sparingly to enhance
your eyes.
- Eye Shadows: If you are using
eye shadow, it should be applied subtly to enhance the eyes, not to add
color. Use as little as possible and stay with neutral or subdued
colors.
- Blush: Use blush sparingly or not
at all. If you want to use blush apply it lightly to the cheekbone to
add color. This is especially important for black and white photographs
as the blush will show as a shadow and make the cheekbones seem to
recede.
- It is a good idea to bring some
make-up with you in case you need to touch up during the session.
Advice
for Younger Children, Babies and Newborns: - The time of day for your session is especially important for
babies. Please pick a time just after a nap and when energy levels are
good. For younger children, a time when your child/children are alert
and full of energy is best.
- If your baby
has had inoculations it is best to wait a few days as he/she may not be
in best form.
- If your child/children has a
favorite toy that they really like, bring it along as this will help.
- Children/Young Adults under the age of 18 must be accompanied
by a parent or guardian at all times.
NOTE: It is best for newborns to be in good form, if they are
not, please call and cancel the session and a new time will be arranged.
